Race Details
This unique event series will feature a time-trial bike send off with participants starting at 10-second intervals. This ensures safety, allowing you to use aerobars and tri bikes and alleviating congestion at the start line. The best part is that you get to start solo, so even if you’re not trying to win the race, you still get your 5 seconds in the spotlight. After the bike portion of the race, you will return to the transition area to rack your bike and throw on your run gear and then off you go towards that finish line!

Help Us Help Them
At PPE, we believe that each of our events should be about something a little bigger than the races themselves. For Ride and Stride, we have chosen to support Soles4Souls.

Bring your new or used running shoes on race day, drop them in the Soles4Souls collection box and instantly receive a ticket for the post-race raffle for each pair of shoes you donate! This isn’t your typical raffle. We’re talking serious, hardcore swag here, people. It’s the least we can do for you in return for supporting a great cause.

What is Soles4Souls?
Nashville-based Soles4SoulsTM facilitates the donations of both new and used shoes, which are used to aid the hurting worldwide. Soles4Souls has distributed more than 4.3 million pairs (currently donating one pair every 13 seconds) to people in over 125 countries, including Honduras, Uganda, Romania, and the United States. The charity has been featured recently in Runner’s World and the Green Guide by National Geographic. It has also appeared on CNN, NBC, ABC, FOX, CBS, and hundreds of regional outlets around North America. Soles4Souls is a 501(c)(3) recognized by the IRS; donating parties are eligible for tax advantages.
